The world ranking of wind power installed capacity has risen from the fourth place in 2008 to the third place. At the end of 2009, 423 wind farms were built in China, with a total capacity of 22.68 million kilowatts, accounting for about 2.6% of the total installed capacity. According to the national wind power development plan, the installed capacity of wind power in China is expected to reach 150 million kilowatts by 2020. |
